The History of Crete

There are a lot of wineries on the east side of Crete. There's an island over there that was a leper colony, which is also a very historic site. A ton of fur stores as in a winter fur coach to buy on Crete; I don't know why I'd be buying one there. It seems like it would be a year-round destination, especially if I'm coming from Northern Europe. But probably by mid to late October, everything closes and doesn't reopen until around Easter.
