Teaching Machines in Schools

Teaching machines were popular in the sixties and seventies. They could be bought as part of encyclopaedia sets, or used at home to learn about electricity. There were pilot programs in schools where students would use teaching machines instead of traditional algebra classes. The best known was in roanoak, am in virginia but there were many others.
