In 15 72, physician adam von bodenstein published a book that was supposedly by paracelsus. Paracelsus is the man or person who coined the term homunclus. He also talks about the unnatural union of man with beast and bestiality. An example of a paracelsian monster, before we get to the actual homunculus, is the creation of a basilisk.
