The Trade-Off Between YouTube and Other Broadcasters
Would there be a reluctance for the broadcaster to want to now start to plug their stuff in through YouTube as opposed to their own and operated platforms directly? I would imagine that there's going to be a fairly big revenue share component of that deal. But ultimately, YouTube's got the relationship already with audiences. It doesn't need to even build. This is just adding a layer on top to people that are already inThe one click you can subscribe and pay more money to get more content if it appeals to you. The goal is you'll get a lot more subscribers, but your average revenue per user will dip as a result.
