The Choice of the Son of Man

Rob Berkov: Jesus' reference to being the son of man is a direct reference back to Daniel seven. He says in essence, he's saying, I'm the one who's going to set up this everlasting kingdom. And as he says to the Pharisees at one point, uh, when they were asking him about the kingdom, he says, the kingdom is right under your noses. It has to do with who would fulfill the promises to David's line and be that king.
