Introduction
Modern nationalism grossly distorts history, especially in far eastern states. In the post war period it has achieved nothing creditable and much that is utterly discreditable. Never more lethally than in the bogus comer ideology of the camer rouge in cambodia during the mid 19 seventies. The abiding purpose of every nationalist is to secure more power. And prestige, not for himself, but for the nation, or other unit in which he has chosen to sink his own individuality.
