Freudianism and the Mother and Son

After having a son i don't know if it would work the same for a daughter but the dynamic between the father and the son is completely different from the mother and the son. This is when Freudianism became really real for me because i've always understood it intellectually but never spiritually. My baby fully hits me and abuses me in a way that he doesn't elive because he respects him and he doesn't respect me but he also craves my approval.
