Is a Bear a True Hibernator?
When the word hibernation is used, most people think of a bear. But bears scientists are divided on whether they are true hibernators. They hibernate in a way that no other animal does. For creatures, it's not sleep. It is this crazy state where the body shuts down and does basically 98 % of its functions just stop functioning.
