The Doctrine of Dignitatis Humani and Vatican City
Dignitatis Humani is only addressing a secular state, but what do we do with a Catholic state? Does a Catholic state have the right to course? Things like that aren't really directly resolved in the document and perhaps they should have been. There's no evidence that it's saying there shouldn't be a Catholic state. It does explicitly speak about how, well, if this state does adopt a confession, here's what is to happen.
