What Is Mathematics About?
I want to dispel the idea that when we talk about analytic philosophy, we just look at the tools and the techniques because it can look pretty dry. Amazingly, he thought it was about an abstract realm independent of human thought, not in space and time, no causal connection to us. And if they were true, they were always true, eternally. So we need clarity, rigor, sharp definition of concepts in order to have a logically precise language to do maths.
