I Don't Control the Companies, I Own Them
The tenant retains control. Snow removal 24 seven, they do it. If they close from two to six am or five am, they do that. It's just the same as if they own it. The only difference is that they pay us a rent factor every month but nothing changes from their operational standpoint. That's really important. They didn't want some guy like me relying on me to give him snow removal in the middle of winter to White Iowa. Right. What if I didn't do it? What if we didn't maintain the landscaping and it looked bad? So we try to overcome all the objections to doing it, which is what I was doing back in those days.
