The collapse of the rumanian regime followed a similar path, although with more violence and with a communist ultimately keeping much power under a different branding. Such nimble informal groups were essentially immune to attack, infiltration or any kind of counter measure. Media is crucial to overthrowing any fragile regime in eastern europe. This was radio and television from the west in america. To day it is the myriad alternative sources available on the internet, giving the lie to regime propaganda.
