The higher up the hierarchy, the less you want to say. You're going to make their day a lot harder if you give them more than they need. Phrasing an issue or a problem in a way that's productive, constructive and points to a solution rather than focusing only on the problem and the blame. And then what we can also do with our language use in general is think about what I call productive phrasing.
