The Importance of Sounding Scientific

Milo Schonfeld: I think it's a big thing in our field man, especially with not just evidence based practitioners, but just practitioners that are trying to make themselves sound much more scientific about something than it needs. So like a true scientist, and when you start writing scientific papers, it really goes away from the typical school method or undergraduate method where you're just trying to add as many words as possible to a sentence. And then on the other end of the spectrum, this very much opens the door for people who have less and fewer scruples about communicating science effectively and with integrity because they can get money out of it. But sometimes good scientists are unable to communicate their points
