The Chinese Communist Party's Decision Not to Invade
I don't think we need to make the Communist Party decide not to invade. We just need to forestall it, which is to say that the U.S., putting up a strong defense, could lead to an invasion being pushed back long enough. That's what forestalled the invasion of the Soviets into Western Europe. The Chinese believe that they're strong enough and quite frankly, the facts back them up. And so therefore, any proxy war that happens today, the way we're economically interconnected, derisking is a joke.
