The Passion of Conversion

Theologically, I just can't get there on that kind of thing. You know, Jesus gets a pass in the, if I buy all the arguments because he's actually, you know, divine, but everybody else has to be human. And if they're human, that means that like maybe they misheard God or maybe something got lost in translation. It pervades a lot of really conservative Christianity. There's a feeling that if I were a conservative Christian and I heard you say that a human might have misheard God in one of the books of the Bible, my entire way of understanding the world is going to fall apart.
