The firebolt gets to the heart of a lot of things about pride to me, right? About whether you can be proud of a physical object that you own. And harry does feel a sense of pride in this broom, right? He certainly feels a sense of awe in this broom,. The chapter ends, and ran and harry are just staring at it wy, good thing, like, god, it's beautiful. A lot of the pride in the firebolt is about how malthay will feel worse because harry has the firebolt. Is this completely understandable loss. But we know that harry and roner going to get so mad.
