Audio Animatorics - The Importance of Speaker Size
For audio animatronics characters, the size of a character speaker is just as important as its position. If it's a bird then he gets his little speaker that is sized appropriately and positioned where it belongs. But if it is a humongous crocosaurus like in the river ride in Shanghai, this thing is monstrosity. So you've got to create a sound pressure level that is believable for a creature of that size.
