How to Survive in an Area of Limited Resources
In the U.S., it was not only expected that you share so that everybody stays alive and your herd or your group stays alive but because of that, it seems like the most noble thing we could do is for me to give you something. That tribal sense is all about survival in an area of limited resources. So if you grew up in a lower income environment, there can be a lot of social pressure for you to share what you have Because that's how you survive when there's a lack of resources.
