The Importance of Race in College Admissions

We here in the United States have this bizarre double speak. If you suggest that there's academic difficulties that result because of the so-called preferences, you will be turned into a pariah. So we pretend that racial preferences do not exist. And yet human beings are able to keep in their heads apparently utterly self-contradictory principles.
