Screening for Intimate Partner Violence
Intimate partner violence is a pattern of assaultof behavior and coercive behavior that may include physical injury, psychological abuse, sexual assault. According to akog mor, than one in three women in the united states have experienced drape, physical violence or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime. Health care providers should screen all women for intimate partner violence at periodic intervals like annual exams and new patient visits as well as periodically during prenatal care.
