The Importance of Heart Rate Variability in Training

Heart rate variability (HRV) is linked to your autonomic system. Having the ability to know if you're adapting positively or negative to a given training and type of training is almost like the holy grail of exercise prescription, right? That's really what we're trying to achieve. HRV actually takes up two modules of that course because I feel it's quite a large area. And there's also a lot of ways to measure it as we'll get into.
