A lot of people think that Jesus cleared the temple once, but in John we have a totally different account. There seems to be a considerable amount of evidence that he cleared it at the beginning of his ministry and at the end. So this wasn't a one time whoopsie daisy. I got mad and made a whip and scared some people that this was something that he did on purpose and did it twice. That's why we have this whole concept of like this was righteous premeditated violent aggression perpetrated by our savior. It's just a different view of Jesus than what you would normally see in how most people depict him.
