Why Naming Your Layers Is Better Than Unnamed?
I don't think it makes you a bad designer if you don't name your layers. But if you're working in a collaborative environment, it does make you a less considerate designer than you could be. I feel like there's clear reasons why naming your layers is better than not. Most people are bad at naming things. There's a very high likelihood of over investing in what you should name some container that five iterations down the road is no longer containing the thing that you've named the layer for what it contains. It just feels like a multitasking thing that will slow you down.
