California was the first place that did all the really great laws around hybrid cars and lanes. California's always been on the forefront of things, but then they muck it up by just overthinking it in so many ways. I hope the state understands that they should stay in the front of things versus letting other states win. The price is high because you're kind of amortizing the cost of that R&D in the beginning, even though there's no human to pay. But over time, I'm curious if the cost will come down or if it will go up as Uber prices have gone up.
