John Tappen's Testimony on the Mason Hammer Theft

Investigators had been keeping an eye on a man named Edmund Tappen, who is John's brother. Edmund lives very close to the maybe homestead and they had kept an eye on him because he either had a learning disability or a mental illness. He said that his brother did it, killed the two women on the maybe property, took all of the loot and sold it at a pawn shop. And after he started having convulsions and got very, very ill, people couldn't believe what he did.
