The Argument for the Bible Tells Me So
Most ancient history is uncorroborated. Suetonius claimed that Emperor Claudius expelled the Jews from Rome, only corroborated by Acts 18. Palauge also says there's no evidence in the New Testament that the apostles besides Paul, Peter, James and John even preached the resurrection. But it seems unlikely they would have been known as apostles if they just sat around and didn't do anything.
