I Love History, and I Love It
i love history. Because you have to know how to read between the lines. Ye, i think that advice is particularly appropriate in this moment, not just talking about ukrane, but just in general. There are so many competing narratives on almost every topic now, it's very tough to know what to believe. You could even take a radical view that history is kind of impossible. We don't even really know what happened, say, in the last election, or when kennedy was shot,. let alone what happened 500 years ago or a thousand years ago. So it seems there's a high degree of uncertainty in almost everything.
