The Six Days of God's Creation
The Westminster shorter catechism is reflecting the teaching of Genesis chapter one. God willed and he spoke to create and that which previously did not exist came into existence. There was no sin or sinfulness in the creation that he made, but he made it all very good. And so we understand then that the defects that we might see in the creation around us today are defects that have come because of the fall,. We'll talk about that a little bit more in a moment.
