Liz Truss appointed members of her cabinet using what was left of the available members of parliament in the Conservative party. She is still hard-right nationalists and she chose her team from that group within the Conservative party who were the leaders of the Brexit movement. They weren't well qualified to handle our economics because they are detached from reality, says Rick Thompson. The political parties are in no position to reverse that because the majority of people voted for it.
