Nicola McDougall: I see a window of opportunity for property investors with a long-term focus. Consumer confidence is low at the moment, and this shows up in market indicators such as auction clearance rates which give us an indication of what's going on. Michael Wargent: Households are cashed up but most Australians still have significant equity in their homes. Dr Andrew Wilson: Australia's housing and economic fundamentals are still sound. But when sentiment shifts, it will be quite quickly that Greer overtakes fear.
