The Possibility of Bootstrapping in the Case of Michael Cohen's Already Existing Guilty Plea

The idea that this is novel or a bit of a stretch is a view that has been held by people who also very much want to prosecute Donald Trump for other violations. A Reuters analysis called the payments the prosecution theory about the daniels payments is quote untested another times analysis called it largely untested and this is talking to people who are not exactly Donald Trump's defenders. To me that the state law can be bootstrapped to a federal law and all the more so if there isn't a conviction related to that federal law.
