What Happened to TARP?
Pelosi and others were critical of the Bush administration for reducing regulation. Frank was holding hearings more than a year before the September 18, 2008 crash loomed on Congress. 100% of TARP was paid back, plus $100 billion in interest from those institutions that had benefited. Some of them were later added into Barney Frank's Dodd-Frank legislation.
