Is the iPad Orientation Agnostic?

Right now you can't do that because you couldn't make a phone call. You'd be holding it upside down the microphone. They could just piece but they could double everything. But I would personally hate that like I don't want this accelerometer to be flipping my screen in different directions like an iPad does.
