Is a Hedge Fake in Basketball a Sin?

I think we should define lying and then stick to that definition. If lying is speaking a falsehood with intention of deceiving, then I wouldn't say that hiding is a type of lying. Sometimes deception is good. Deception might be good. Is a hedge fake in basketball a sin? Is a head fake inbasketball a sin? I don't know about that but I do feel strongly that I should never speak a falsehood with the intent of deceiving. But Aquinas, Aquinas isn't infallible, but he doesn't do that and he would disagree with you as would Augustine, as would Bonaventure.
