What's Happening at the Inn?
The Supreme Court is considering whether a man can sue for damages against a federal official under bivins. The case was brought by an ex-employee of the bed and breakfast where he worked as a janitor. Clarence Thomas, who sits on the court, has said that there's no reason to believe Congress should be creating remedies in these cases. Rea Jones: Is there any reason that we, the supreme court, should be the ones to provide a remedy here?
