There is a little bit too much focus on what is measurable. And then simultaneously, people trying to measure the unmeasurable in a way that is, like, to me, a very false sense of precision. I think it is very easy to tip into embracing an aesthetic of rationality that is not itself actually rational. It closes you off from other forms of knowing. You can really miss things ifyou can't hear information and if you can't hear signal that doesn't come to you wrapped in stylistic and cultural packaging.
