
John Adams: The case of the missing monument

There's a group called the Adams Memorial Foundation, which is mostly made up of family descendants. They got authorization by the Congress to move forward with a plan for a monument in 2001. Their tax forms seem to show that they haven't yet raised anywhere near the amount of money that they need for a monument. D.C. is essentially not allowing new monuments along the National Mall.
