Vonnegut and the Humanity of Others

Vonnegut was a very adamant and heavy-handed critic of the way that humans treated their planet. He once said that humanity deserved to die horribly, since it had behaved so cruelly on a planet so sweet. It's this idea that mankind in general, we're all stardust. We all come from the same place. And as individuals, I think Vonnegut had a lot of respect and empathy for people's wills and desires.
