Bishops Learn a Lot About What People Think
When Pew did a synod on the Eucharist and it learned that many Catholics don't believe in the real presence, the bishop said, hey, this is extremely useful. Those voices have value. We're not going to start referring to Pew as quantity synods. If bishops know what people think, they can know how to engage with those people.
