Ching-Posai and the Black Fleet

Ching-Chi and the rest of the pirates suffered a pretty big defeat in a battle called the Battle of the Tiger's Mouth. Ching-Posai was impressed because after he surrendered, he presented his fleet as booty. The final negotiations came one day in 1810 when Ching-she herself and a group of red flag fleet women and children presented themselves unarmed to the governor general in Canton. She walked away with full pardons for her and Ching- Posai, all of their wealth,. so they could go into the salt trade. They got funds to relocate, and Ching/Posai was given a military position in the navy.
