Theodore Roosevelt, Is That a Good Idea?
There are lessons to be drawn from anybody in history. Reverering people in history, that's the different matter. I actually sort of think he would find it funny that people would revere him with statues. He was wrong probably as much as he was right in regards to race because of the context in which he grew up. And so my son and I sort of, we go back and forth about Roosevelt. We both like him, but we both recognize his flaws.
