The Return of Capital Controls
I think it just portends the return of capital controls. You have to force people to hold government debt basically. Imposing capital controls is going to be much, much harder in sort of this digitally native world. I mean, there's one apex predator of fiat currencies and it's the dollar. People just aren't going to do it.
