The Russian Economy Is in the Toilet Before.
Russia has not been brought to its knees by a combination of military humiliation at the hands of the peasant nation next door and sanctions from the West. The Russian economy was in the toilet before, it's even deeper in the toilet now. China and India buying up Russian oil and gas and a discount that's helping the Russians stay afloat. But the long-term trajectory certainly looks pretty depressing.
