The Soviet Revolution and the Civil War in Moscow

This week, we return to the russian heartland. We look at how soviet government in moscow navigated their own pivot from revolution to civil war. But no one expected a wild card called the checoslava legion to blow the whole thing sky high. The bolshevik seizure of power in october 19 17 did not magically solve all the social, economic and political disfunction that had plagued russia since the start of the war. And also, i suppose, the two big problems that had sparked the february revolution in the first place were ongoing issues.
