When people want to be accountable, they will. That's when employee engagement goes crazy. When you do make those changes, i've seen the top performers just explode. They are more engaged, thay stay more loyal. All these positive things happen when you in some cases, not to be too harsh, but get rid of people who are not carrying their weight. Most companies don't know what they believe. And so if that is the value of your organization, why would you let some one exist in your organization that isn't operating othat belief?
