The Myth of Patient Information
We have been taught to expect that queer subjects, trans subjects, queer subjects have dealt with an inordinate amount of trauma or loading from parental inheritances. What we are arguing is that the loading that all of us are subjected to from our parents becomes part of a resource for how to theorize oneself. An agency starts from what we didn't get to choose. And I think it's also important to remember that there's also parental anxieties and those when you work with children.
