What's Going on With the Classics as a Field
i didn't know. I've heard that the classics as a field considers its struggle with the white supremacist use of classical thought to be a big deal. Some people are starting to get worried that a contemporary revival of platonic political philosophy, or political platonism, poses a threat to the liberal modern values. Oh, well, so in other words, it's going to get worse before it gets better. Well, i guess, not surprising, and yet still kind of depressing. We can go into what that means and how it differs from the east coast but for present purposes's let's take back.
