The Challenges of Filmmaking

I would always play it safe by recording. If as a fail-safe backup, I'd always have my original themes to work with. And then we push the boat out and have fun, you know, in building that to experiment. It's like that experience of working with Daniel Lanoir and sort of Brian Eno. He's so good at allowing that space for improvisation to take place. We live in a culture of fear where you're afraid to go out of the box.
