I think a lot of the ideas in here are really valuable and so I'd love for you to maybe give a sense of like what you were thinking about when you read this piece. The reason I wrote this was that I felt like I was kind of feeling back to an earlier version of me where there was a big bad kind of cognitive dissonance. It's just kind of lying to ourselves if we don't talk about these things, lots of people want to get on product hunt or start a company or publish a paper. To say that you can just make yourself not care about them "is a lie"
